Horror tropes/creative choices I like

One trope I really like (which inspired my landing page) is the concept of sentient, malicious buildings/inanimate objects. It's probably because I got into horror fiction through Stephen King's books, and one of the stories that left a lasting impression was Mile 81. I love when something ordinarily mundane is described as dangerous, it's so unsettling.

Inspiration and Credits

Originally, I wanted to make this page more scary (hence the bloody lighthouse), but I also just wanted to make a cute spooky layout, so I decided to mix both ideas. I used the sadgrl layout maker & a tile background from Betty's graphics to make this page.
